Nike isn’t short on experimental footwear, but the First Sight Mirage stands out for taking inspiration from one place and ending up somewhere completely different.

Part of the growing First Sight collection, the Mirage continues Nike’s push into fashion-focused silhouettes that borrow heavily from sport. This time, football serves as the starting point. Cleat-inspired traction elements stretch beyond their usual role, forming an exaggerated platform sole that immediately sets the shoe apart from anything else in Nike’s women’s range.

The upper keeps the futuristic theme going. Layers of synthetic suede, nubuck, and lightweight textiles create a look that feels structured yet breathable. A black finish dominates the design, allowing the shape itself to do most of the talking.
